Head over to the 'Membership' tab on The Know & Play Space website and you will see two phonics-based options. One is for standard access to Know & Play Phonics, the second option will give you access to BOTH Know & Play Phonics AND 'The Know & Play Phonics Method'. This is the one that you need if you want to access the Method's programme & course. Both of the phonics memberships are LIFETIME ACESS options, so once you have paid once, there is no reoccurring costs.

Because you get LIFETIME access to the Method, it really doesn't matter how young your child is. What you will find within the Method is guidance on implementing high-quality provision and experiences for your child, even from as young as birth. We then move onto Phase 1 teaching and learning, which is great to start with your child more discreetly from around 2.5 years old. We'd then recommend starting Phase 2 from around age 4, although some children may be ready for a light touch around 3.5 years old. Even if your child is older, for example are 6 but haven't started phonics yet, or are perhaps in Year 1 in school, this programme can STILL benefit them - especially if they're needing some additional support or some gaps filling. Most importantly you get access to: - A video-based programme you can follow that will, step-by-step, teach your child to read You also get: - A coaching course running alongside the learning programme, so that you feel confident in teaching your child every step of the way In addition to this, also included is: - A live mentoring call every month, where you can join and ask questions, get support or advice if you need it - Exclusive, printable resources to support not only your child's learning, but your teaching, knowledge and understanding too. For example: completed planning grids for Phases 2-5, and word cards sorted by phase and set for your ease - Full access to the whole Know & Play Phonics on The Know & Play Space website, so that you can continue to further your knowledge and understanding of phonics

This method has been designed by myself, Becca, a qualified primary school teacher with literacy specialism and early years expertise. A significant amount of research and experience has gone into creating this method, with it also reflecting my passion for play-based learning, active engagement and focusing on children's stage not age. Not only have I drawn upon knowledge and experience of my own, but I have also sought advice, guidance and support from fellow phonics-specialist/ literacy-specialist colleagues, heads of Early Years departments, current Year R and KS1 teachers, as well as clients of mine whom I tutor and parents who are looking for a programme like this. All of their feedback and conversations has helped holistically shape what 'The Know & Play Phonics Method' has now become.
