Young and Mighty Oaks is a small group session and their parent/carer.

​

It is designed for children who are on, what The Know & Play Space calls 'The Young Oak Pathway', so children around the ages of 3-5 years.​

 

At this age, children are beginning to spread their branches independently, but still need that strength and security from their Mighty Oak to help them grow and become.

​

Every session follows the same warm familiar rhythm, and is rooted in the turning of the year, the seasons and what the natural world is doing each week.

​

The sessions include:

• story telling

• songs & rhymes

• creative exploration

• seasonal celebrations

• & time for open ended play
